General Director
MIN. CECILE ALLEYNE is the General Director of Wesleyan Women of the Caribbean with a Motto, “Lord, wherever I go, make me a blessing.” Her early career spanned the Insurance and Banking Sectors; following, she pursued various studies which advanced her dreams. Min. Alleyne holds a Master's in Ministry and Counselling and is a certified youth, parent, and family coach. She is a devoted wife of twenty-seven years, the dedicated mother of two sons, and a doting grandmother of a precious little girl.
Min. Alleyne resides in Barbados; she is the Treasurer at the Thickets Wesleyan Holiness Church and serves on the Wesleyan Holiness Barbados District's Board of Administration. Cecile is passionate about the things of God and has amassed more than two decades of ministry experience in Youth, Sunday School, Women and Church Administration. She is an ardent Preacher/Teacher, Counsellor, Presenter and Intercessor; and with the help of the Holy Spirit, she inspires others to live purposeful lives.
Assistant General Director
REV. CECELE BROWNE is from Nevis and is a servant of the Most High God. She served the district as full-time pastor for twenty-five (25) years. She has also served in several positions including District Youth President, Secretary of Christian Education, District Director of Wesleyan Women and a Member of the District Board of Administration. Rev. Browne is presently retired from full-time pastoral office but continues to serve the Lord as His ministering servant where He leads and directs.
General Secretary
SR. ROSALIND SCANTLEBURY is a member of Benthams Wesleyan Holiness Church, Barbados and has served as Wesleyan Women (WW) Assistant Director, WW Director, a Delegate to Conference and a member of the Local Board of Administration. She is an intercessor, leads in worship and serves with the multimedia ministry. She also served as Lay Member of the Barbados District Board of Ministerial Standing. Sr. Scantlebury held the position of WW South-eastern Area Assistant Director and is currently the WW District Secretary.
Sr. Scantlebury is a Certified Administrative Secretary by profession, a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her heart's desire is to be empowered, to experience growth, to share with others in her Christian walk and not to leave an unfinished task.
General Treasurer
SR. CELESTE WOOD is a retired banker. Sr. Wood is the Wesleyan Women District Treasurer in Barbados (2010 to present). She has been the WW Director at Coconut Grove Wesleyan Holiness Church for the past twelve (12) years. Over the years, she has served as a faithful and dedicated member of the Wesleyan Holiness Church. She has a passion for seeing people saved for the Kingdom of God; being wise in all their ways of life, especially in the management of their households and the available finances. Oftentimes she has ministered the word of God to her local congregation and others across the district.
North-western Area Director
SR. CHARMENE WELLINGTON is a woman of God who has grown up in the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Jamaica. She got saved in her teen-age years and has been dedicated to service in many areas of Church ministry. She has been involved in the following ministry areas - local, District and General Church levels. She served as Church Secretary, District Secretary, District Women's Department, Secretary, Delegate to General conferences, Sunday School teacher, as well as in the Youth Department.
North Western Area Assistant Director
SR. JOAN MORRIS is a native of St. James Parish, Jamaica, and a member of Northern Jamaica District. She was baptised and received as a member of the Montego Bay Pilgrim Holiness Church in August 1966. She has held various positions in the local church, presently serving as Treasurer of the Barrett Town Wesleyan Holiness Church. She is also the District Secretary.
She has represented Northern Jamaica at general conferences and inter-district meetings; sat on numerous committees, served as District Secretary under previous administrations and was District Wesleyan Women Director from 2007 to 2018. Professionally, she worked as an Executive Secretary in the public and private sectors before transitioning to being a Banker (now retired). She enjoys reading and travelling.
Central Area Director
REV. ANGELA DANIEL attends the Swetes Wesleyan Holiness Church in Antigua, of which she is Assistant Pastor. She is the wife of Rev. Dr. Olson Daniel, the mother of four children, two girls and two boys and a granddaughter. She loves the Lord with all her heart and her desire is to serve Him with quality and a passion to win those that are lost. She is also the Wesleyan Women District Director of the Antigua District and a grade one teacher at the Antigua Wesleyan Junior Academy. Her hobbies are travelling, shopping, reading, going to the beach, and listening to music.
Central Area Assistant Director
SR. DEBORAH BOWERY is a devoted ministering child of God for fourteen (14) years and is a member of the Wesleyan Holiness Church at Stapleton, St. Kitts. She has a passion to fulfil God's purpose in her life, which is demonstrated in her ministry of encouraging others and providing spiritual and emotional support. Sr. Bowery has served on the local and district levels as Sunday School teacher, President of the Wesleyan Women (WW), Local Board Member, Youth Sponsor, Chair of the Benevolent Committee and as the Young Adults Bible teacher.
She has ministered the Word at local churches. She has a consummate passion for working with women and has served for many years as the WW District Secretary and is currently the WW District Director. Sr. Bowery has worked with the organising committees and participated in local retreats and area conventions. Her motto is to be available to God and to be used by Him to enrich others and build up His Kingdom.
South Eastern Area Director
SR. LUCIAN ALLEN is from the picturesque island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Sr. Allen is married to one husband for the last thirty years and they have one son. She has a magnetic personality and enjoys reading and baking during her leisure time. She is currently a member of the Dubois Wesleyan Holiness Church. She has served in many areas of the church in the capacities of Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher, Youth President, Church Secretary, local and District Wesleyan Women Director and most recently Assistant Director of the South-eastern Area.
She is a firm believer of excellence and teamwork and that nothing is impossible when one puts his trust in God. Her favourite verse is found in Psalm 55:22 (NKJV). 'Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved' and her favourite song is 'Until Then'.
South Eastern Area Assistant Director
MIN. VENETA RILEY-MALLET is a teacher, leader, mother, sister, prayer warrior and minister of the gospel. She is the personification of dedication. She loves God with intensity and shares that love with those around her. Min. Riley-Mallet holds decades of experience and qualifications in teaching and education, a Masters' degree in Counselling and she is a humble subject to her Master. She strives to put God first in all things which reflect in her life, His peace, love, and grace.
General Director Wesleyan Children
DEACONESS JANELLE CLARKE is the Wesleyan Children General Director. Deaconess Clarke worships at the Crab Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church, Barbados. She loves the Lord. She is the mother of one. Her favorite scripture is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” She has been District Director, Wesleyan Children for over ten years. Her passion for children has driven her to go beyond the church into the government nurseries to minister to God's little ones. Her desire is to see revival in our churches, schools and nations.
